Sr. Software Engineer
Work Arrangement: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that align with business objectives. You will be responsible for supporting and enhancing critical systems, driving innovation, and ensuring application reliability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions to meet business needs.
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, test cases, and user guides.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and software development lifecycle processes.
  • Participate in code reviews, version control, and deployment activities.
  • Analyze data and system performance to drive continuous improvement.
Required Technical Skills
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in modern languages such as C#, VB.Net, or equivalent.
  • Database Management: Strong skills in SQL and experience with PL/SQL, including stored procedures.
  • Version Control: Hands-on experience with tools like GitHub for code versioning and branching.
  • Job Scheduling: Familiarity with tools like AutoSys or similar for scheduling and automation.
  • Development Tools: Experience with integrated development environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting production systems and resolving technical challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
