Job Description

Senior Leader, IT Governance
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Implement Technology Governance Framework:
    • Create a robust governance framework aligned with company objectives and regulatory standards.
  2. Define and Enforce Policies, Standards, and Procedures:
    • Ensure compliance and risk mitigation through clear policies and standards.
  3. Establish KPIs and Metrics:
    • Measure the effectiveness of the governance framework with relevant performance indicators.
  4. Lead Technology Risk Management:
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technology initiatives.
  5. Collaborate Across Teams:
    • Integrate governance practices into technology development and deployment processes.
  6. Provide Guidance and Support:
    • Offer expertise to technology teams on governance matters.
  7. Stay Current with Industry Practices:
    • Remain updated on best practices and regulatory changes in technology governance.
Education and Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in technology governance, risk management, or related fields.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with governance frameworks like COBIT, ITIL, and regulatory requirements such as GDPR.
    • Strong communication and leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
    • Preferred certifications include CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, though not mandatory.
