Job Description

Sr. Security Systems Engineer Experience with Security Service Edge (SSE) solutions REQUIRED - engineer is specializing in SSE.HTTPS, TLS, SAML, and OpenID Connect experience is a perk.Zscaler and Netskope experience is a huge plus.  RESPONSIBILITIES 
  1. Assist customers with developing technical requirements, evaluating SSE solutions, and developing architecture & design.
  2. Complete administrative project tasks like time and expense entry, status reporting, and project completion reporting.
  3. Lead in all Technology deployment activities, connector configuration, custom rule development, workflow configuration and development, and third-party system integration including SSO/IAM, SIEM, MDM, SPLUNK.
  4. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional associations such as CSA.
  5. Lead in capacity planning and HW specification recommendation efforts.
  6. Performs installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned technology.
  7. Coordinate with QA for User Acceptance Testing and bug-related engineering efforts.
  8. Proactively resolves alerts and performs remediation activities.
  9. Manages problem or escalated tickets and tasks and out of cycle requests from systems/software owners.
  10. Writes programming/scripting in relation to technology assigned.
 SKILL SET 
  1. Experience with Security Service Edge (SSE) solutions REQUIRED
  2. HTTPS, TLS, SAML, and OpenID Connect experience is a perk.
  3. Zscaler and Netskope experience is a huge plus.
  4. Experience building and maintaining mission critical distributed systems in major, large-scale system implementations.
  5. Extensive working knowledge of security concepts and current trends such as zero trust security model, DLP etc.
  6. Good understanding of security protocols such as HTTPS, TLS, SAML and OpenID Connect.
  7. Basic networking concepts and best practices.
  8. Three plus years working with common building blocks of Edge infrastructure such as reverse proxies, load balancers and firewalls.
  9. Professional experience in automated testing, CI/CD and all SDLC phases.
  10. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams, manage competing goals and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  11. High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
  12. Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  13. Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance.
  14. Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately.
  15. Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  16. Education: Associates degree plus five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
