We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and software engineers to implement new functionality, streamline processes, and optimize solutions. You will be a key player in defining, documenting, and maintaining business and functional requirements throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving abilities and experience in an application development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables.
Gather, analyze, interpret, document, and validate business and functional requirements, use cases, and system specifications.
Work closely with stakeholders to assess the feasibility of business requests, conduct research, and identify options that align with business needs.
Develop and maintain documentation for requirements, standards, processes, and procedures.
Participate in acceptance testing, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Support the development and enhancement of applications by identifying opportunities for optimization and increased efficiency.
Lead and facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams, including IT, product management, and third-party vendors.
Continuously drive improvements in processes, applications, and collaboration between teams.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in developing, interpreting, reviewing, and documenting business requirements, specifications, and use cases.
1+ years of business analysis experience in an application development setting, with exposure to Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
Proven ability to take initiative, effectively plan, and drive projects to completion.
Strong multitasking and time management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and business teams.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and problem-solving skills.
Experience serving as a liaison between business users and IT teams.
Ability to contribute to the development of departmental standards and procedures.
Strong analytical skills and experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with SQL.
Familiarity with agile development tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Scrum methodologies.
Broad knowledge of enterprise business processes and systems.
