Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – Security & Risk Analytics
Hybrid | Oakland, CA |

We’re seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with a passion for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive security and risk reduction across a large enterprise. This hybrid role blends remote work with 2–3 days per week onsite at a collaborative office in Oakland, CA.
Why This Role Matters:
As a key member of the Security Business Intelligence team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the way risk and security performance are measured and communicated across the organization. You’ll work with a variety of stakeholders — from technical experts to senior leaders — to design dashboards, scorecards, playbooks, and analytics that inform high-stakes decisions.
What You’ll Do:

  • Translate data into insight: create impactful dashboards, performance metrics, and trend analysis that support enterprise security objectives.

  • Quantify security risk: collaborate with enterprise risk teams to evaluate and present data that shows how actions are reducing exposure.

  • Build tools that scale: develop and automate processes, reports, and analytics that drive efficiency and transparency.

  • Communicate findings: prepare high-quality presentation materials and briefings for leadership and strategic partners.

  • Be a go-to resource: serve as an internal consultant on performance analytics, helping teams better understand their data and improve outcomes.

  • Contribute to program development: maintain internal standards, procedures, and playbooks for consistent performance tracking and reporting.
What You Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or security/risk reporting

  • Bachelor’s (or advanced) degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Economics, or related field

  • Advanced Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint skills

  • Experience with Power Automate, PowerApps, and SharePoint

  • Strong understanding of enterprise risk, security performance metrics, and data storytelling

  • A proactive mindset, strong follow-through, and comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

  • Excellent communication skills — written, visual, and verbal — with a talent for tailoring messages to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies is a plus

  • Bonus: experience with AI/LLM tools, programming, or security certifications
