The IT Release Manager plays a key role in coordinating and implementing technology initiatives within established timelines, with a focus on telecommunications systems and services. This includes participating in discovery efforts, system deployments, and consolidation projects. The role involves gathering business requirements, conducting solution design reviews, and ensuring smooth execution of tasks while collaborating with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders. Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage activities related to assigned IT applications, systems, and projects.
Track dependencies and ensure releases are executed according to plan and schedule.
Maintain detailed release documentation and support adherence to organizational policies and processes.
Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
Support discovery efforts, solution design, and deployment of telecommunications services.
Perform business analysis, provide recommendations, and ensure the effective implementation of voice and telecommunication technologies.
Monitor system performance, address issues, and escalate as necessary.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and maintain updated support documentation.
Stay informed about advancements in telecommunications and related technologies.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in telecommunications systems, including VoIP and IVR.
Strong understanding of telephony, computer/telephony integration, and disaster recovery practices.
Proven experience in IT project coordination, system installations, and vendor collaboration.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with voice service operations and related technologies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving business functions and services.
