QA / Test Analyst Envision is seeking a QA / Test Analyst for our 12 months+ hybrid role in Phoenix, AZ.   Local Candidates in the Phoenix, AZ area required.No C2C or 3rd parties allowed. SummaryPosition DescriptionWe are updating all our internal systems and building an all-new online eGovernment service center.   • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to understand user stories, acceptance criteria, and overall project requirements. 
  • Test Planning: Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on the identified requirements and acceptance criteria. 
  • Test Execution: Execute functional, regression, integration, and system tests to verify the software meets the desired quality standards. Ensure all tests are documented, tracked, and reported accurately
  • Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools. Work closely with the development team to understand and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews. Collaborate with the development team and product owners to ensure clear communication and alignment on testing efforts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy and provide input on best practices for testing in an agile environment. 
  • Test Coverage and Validation: Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to ensure proper test coverage and validate business requirements. Conduct thorough analysis to ensure all aspects of the software are tested.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate test progress, test results, and any potential risks or issues to relevant stakeholders. Provide clear and concise reports on the status of testing efforts.
 Skills Required
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies, particularly Scrum. - Proficiency in test planning, test case design, and execution
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools. 
  • Solid knowledge of software testing principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
 Experience Required5 years of experience in test functional testing/automation Education Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field: A degree in a relevant field provides a solid foundation in software development and quality assurance principles.s.
