Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to design and build user-friendly dashboards and reports, starting from wireframes through to implementation. The ideal candidate will work directly with end-users to understand their needs and develop solutions that transform data into insights, helping to establish a centralized reporting service for the team. This role requires strong Power BI expertise and the ability to work well in a collaborative team setting. Knowledge of additional BI tools, such as Cognos and Tableau, is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements and user needs.
Conduct workflow studies and analyze business practices to document and improve reporting processes.
Code, monitor, test, and debug Power BI applications, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Follow established change management practices and perform code reviews.
Develop and maintain test plans and provide recommendations on software and hardware improvements.
Support and document operational activities, schedules, and processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
Extensive experience with Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers to gather requirements.
Experience in a team-oriented environment and in providing customer service.
Familiarity with Cognos and Tableau is a bonus.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
5+ years of relevant technology experience.
