Job Description

Network Security Engineer

Are you a cybersecurity professional passionate about protecting complex enterprise networks from evolving threats? We’re looking for a Network Security Engineer with advanced skills in designing and safeguarding secure network infrastructures. This is a hands-on, high-impact role perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is driven to stay ahead of the cybersecurity curve.
What You’ll Do:

Architect and implement secure network solutions to defend critical systems and data.
Monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats and incidents in real-time.
Configure and maintain security appliances, including firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto), VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
Conduct in-depth vulnerability assessments and identify areas of improvement.
Develop, enforce, and maintain network security policies aligned with leading industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, NERC CIP).
Drive zero-trust implementations, endpoint protection strategies, and identity access controls.
Oversee security audits, patch management, and infrastructure updates.
Lead forensic investigations and support incident response initiatives.
Collaborate closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to embed security into every layer of IT.

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in network security, cybersecurity engineering, or similar roles.
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, DDoS mitigation, and perimeter defenses.
Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, NetScout, vulnerability scanners, and EDR platforms.
Knowledge of cloud environments and security (AWS, Azure, Cloudhub, MuleSoft).
Industry certifications (CISSP, CCNP Security, PCNSA/PCNSE, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a strong plus.
Strong analytical mindset and excellent troubleshooting skills.
Clear communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
