IT Support Technician
Position: Direct Hire
Salary: DOE, with up to 10% bonus based on company performance
Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, company-provided life insurance, 401k match, and tuition reimbursement
Location: This is a hybrid position requiring regional travel and up to three days per week working remotely.  Mileage will be reimbursed.

General Summary
The IT Support Technician will perform workstation and technical support for PC hardware/software and network operational support. The role includes maintaining computer equipment, office equipment, and the telephone system, acting as "help-desk" support for PC, network, and phone users. As part of the Information Technology team, this position contributes to achieving department and company goals.

Job Duties
  1. Workstation Functions & Technical Support
    • Setup, install, configure, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade PCs and peripherals.
    • Perform operating system and software upgrades.
    • Analyze and troubleshoot problems to minimize end-user downtime.
    • Train users on the current operating system, software packages, and hardware use.
  2. Production & Computer Support
    • Setup, install, configure, diagnose, maintain, and upgrade production and computers.
    • Troubleshoot problems and provide end-user support to minimize downtime.
  3. First-Level Contact for Office Equipment
    • Provide support for the phone system, copiers, and other office equipment.
  4. Network Support
    • Perform user account management, security management, anti-virus functions, workstation application and hardware support, and performance monitoring.
    • Troubleshoot network problems to ensure minimal downtime.
  5. Cell Phone Management
    • Manage and support cell phones across all locations.
  6. Equipment Recycling & Inventory
    • Collect outdated equipment for recycling or disposal and keep inventory updated.
  7. Problem Tracking & Documentation
    • Monitor, track, and document problems/issues for timely resolution and to identify ongoing issues.
    • Develop and maintain systems-related documentation.
  8. System Maintenance
    • Schedule system maintenance to ensure minimal impact on production and operations.
  9. Vendor Relations
    • Handle vendor relations for support with hardware/software and office equipment issues.
  10. Other Duties
    • Perform other duties and handle ad-hoc projects as assigned.
    • Provide after-hours support as needed.
Job Qualifications
Required:
  • 2-4 years of related experience with a strong background in network support functions.
  • Education and certifications will be verified.
  • Must pass a drug screen (including marijuana) and background check.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.

Preferred:
  • Two-year degree in IT Administration, Network/Server Administration, or a related field; or related technical certification.
  • 5 years of related experience.
