Job Description

IT Security Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking an IT Security Engineer to support our ongoing security initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role is part of the Services organization within Corporate Security, focusing on information security and compliance efforts. The position will involve collaboration with a global team and contribute to integrating security practices within the organization.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to advise on security standards, policies, and emerging trends.
Develop and maintain relationships to drive alignment on security objectives.
Enhance security services, including improving efficiency, defining standards, and ensuring change management accuracy.
Manage security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, identity and access management, and key management.
Perform internal vulnerability scans, access reviews, and configuration validations, leveraging automation tools where possible.
Document and update security policies, procedures, and mitigation controls.
Participate in audits and assessments, providing necessary support.
Analyze and recommend improvements to operational security controls.
Evaluate tools to support the security operations function.
Participate in on-call security rotations.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience with third-party software reviews, application security, and access controls.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud, and security by design principles.
Familiarity with data privacy, regulatory standards (e.g., PCI), and compliance frameworks.
Experience with tools and technologies such as:
- Linux and network administration
- PKI management and HSMs (e.g., Luna 7)
- CyberArk or similar privileged access management tools
- HashiCorp Vault for secrets management
- SIEMs like Splunk, QRadar, or LogRhythm
Strong understanding of cryptography, security domains, and relevant protocols.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Google Cloud Certification, Security+, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in regulated environments (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC, HIPAA).
