IT Project Manager (System Integration)
St. Louis based candidates only (role is hybrid)

Job Description:
  • Deep expertise in the job discipline, working independently to solve or lead others in solving complex issues.
  • Independently defines and manages the scope and schedule of large, complex projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
  • Develops plans and resources (both internal and external) for high-risk or large-scale projects.
  • Helps prioritize projects impacting multiple departments or groups.
  • Serves as a proactive leader, identifying and addressing team needs to allow focus on valuable work.
  • Provides vendor management expertise in reviewing proposals, contracts, and selecting vendors.
  • Manages the demand planning process and guides others in the process, understanding organizational impact.
  • Oversees project budgets for large-scale projects and approves related invoices.
  • Ensures quality and tracks the progress of high-risk projects using structured project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall).
  • Anticipates risks, performs risk analysis, and prepares plans to address potential challenges.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and improvement of PMO processes, tools, and automation.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves logistics or process issues to increase team productivity.
  • Removes barriers to progress (e.g., administrative, logistical challenges) to ensure full team engagement.
  • Manages change control issues and ensures the team adapts as needed.
  • Prepares stakeholders for project delivery, communicates the value of large projects, and maintains transparency throughout.
  • Facilitates status meetings with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress and challenges.
  • Develops and implements change management strategies to ensure stakeholder engagement throughout the project.
  • Expert in project management, including fostering innovation and self-improvement within the team.
  • Effectively guides the team through roadblocks to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and change management principles.
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking in vendor management and resource allocation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in project management, scheduling, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Maximo OR Large System Integration experience is REQUIRED.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification strongly preferred, but not required.
