IT Project Manager – Cyber Security Envision is seeking an IT Project Managerwith solid cyber security experience around infrastructure / PC / Device security, providing centralized security for a large, dispersed expertise organization.This IT PM will work out of the EPMO working with client privacy and security teams responsible for protecting systems.This is a long-term project in Phoenix, AZ which we expect to expand for a longer term.LOCAL CANDIDATES IN THE PHOENIX, AZ AREA REQUIREDNO C2C OR THIRD PARTIES ALLOWEDRoleSeeking Enterprise Project Managers with cyber security background for various technology projects in the Project Management Office (PMO) in a highly matrixed environment.
The ideal Project Manager for this role will have expertise inCyber Security, Identity and Privacy protection.
Planning, coordinating, and delivering enterprise security tools for the Infrastructure and Customer Care teams.
This position assists with managing the security compliance and privacy compliance programs that helps protect from cyber threats and assists with compliance, security operations, and security planning functions,
This role will support and contribute to the direction and overall strategy.
This position will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and reporting on information security risks in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements, and aligns with and supports the risk posture of the enterprise.
As a Project Manager, ensures that security solutions are acquired, and implemented correctly and risks and issues are mitigated; ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through enterprise workstations, servers and other systems including databases and other data repositories; oversees the business’ on-premises and cloud vulnerability management program, analysis and reporting platforms, network, server and client endpoint security tools/services including backup and data protection, identity and access management and multi-factor authentication services, alignment with industry standards and frameworks
Qualifications
5 + years of experience leading large scale technology projects
5+ years of leading project teams with multiple project sponsors
Successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of extensive technical experience in Information Security Systems (or equivalent experience).
Professional certifications in Information Security and Networking Systems (hardware and software - CISSP, Security, CEH, CISA, CISM, GSEC) preferred but not required.) as well as an in-depth knowledge and understanding of specific information protection standards.
Excellent customer service and communications to convey project needs and risks to the business, technology, and executive stakeholders.
Ability to analyze problems, conflict-resolution, and focus on big picture delivery without losing sight of details
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, timely, and concisely written documentation and presentations
Advanced proficiency with MS Word, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, Project/PWA, Visio
Preferred Experience and Training
5+ years of experience as a project manager leading complex technology projects for Cyber Security and infrastructure projects.
Experience working in a public sector, municipal government organizations are a plus.
Master’s degree in management, information technology, or related field
Other certifications and skills such as Agile, Scrum, Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Organizational Change Management are desired
Experience with conducting project governance over a multi-stakeholder environment
