Job Description

IT Project Manager Envision is seeking an IT Project Manager with solid experience implementing an enterprise software solution for Asset Management platform, as either a COTS or SaaS, as an example for tracking physical assets from a central location for a large, dispersed organization.   This is a long-term effort to work from inception to selection (RPF / RFQ) for Asset Management platform to vendor management for the implementation of this asset management solution.  This is a long-term project in Phoenix, AZ   
LOCAL CANDIDATES IN THE PHOENIX, AZ AREA REQUIREDNO C2C OR THIRD PARTIES ALLOWED RoleSeeking Enterprise Project Managers to manage various technology projects for the Project Management Office (PMO) in a highly matrixed environment.  
  • The ideal Project Manager for this role will have experience with Asset Management tools, systems, and projects.  This can run from IT assets to heavy equipment, and all assets with running a large enterprise organization.   
  • Will work with Business Analyst, Stakeholders, and end users for review and selection of asset management platform, so experience with RFI / RFP and vendor management will be helpful for this project.
 Qualifications
  • 5 + years of experience leading large scale technology projects
  • 5+ years of leading project teams with multiple project sponsors
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, information technology, or related field
  • Project management-related certifications (i.e., PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, etc.)
  • Excellent customer service and communications to convey project needs and risks to the business, technology, and executive stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze problems, conflict-resolution, and focus on big picture delivery without losing sight of details
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, timely, and concisely written documentation and presentations
  • Three years of vendor management experience
  • Procurement experience (RFP, RFI, RFQ, etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, Project/PWA, Visio
 Preferred Experience and Training
  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager leading complex technology projects for Asset Management, financial data reconciliation, software implementation, and infrastructure.
  • Experience working in a public sector, municipal government organizations are a plus.
  • Master’s degree in management, information technology, or related field
  • Other certifications and skills such as Agile, Scrum, Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Organizational Change Management are desired
  • Experience with conducting project governance over a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Different combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted
