Job Description

IT Communications Specialist                 Qualtrics project - experience w/ software HUGE plus!ITIL background is preferred.PORTFOLIO EXAMPLE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CANDIDATES!Change management and/or organization management experience is huge perk (Prosci).Ability to perform learning and development disciplines is highly preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES 
  1. Manage, create, and execute day-to-day communications for IT services, initiatives, and programs.
  2. Write, edit, and adapt custom messaging for identified audiences while following well-planned approaches and aggressive timelines.
  3. Produce new, engaging content including (but not limited to) newsletter content, digital signage, email marketing, flyers, posters, articles, brochures, web content, video, presentations, and talking points.
  4. Develop and execute creative branding concepts, awareness, and adoption strategies.
  5. Plan and execute webcasts, town hall meetings, workshops, presentations, and similar events.
  6. Conduct copywriting, conceptualization, design, layout, and updates to existing materials, and extensive text revisions.
  7. Gather and assess communications metrics and data to inform strategic communications decisions.
 Skills:    
  1. Demonstrated experience developing, writing, and editing original work for a variety of vehicles both print and online (targeted email, web, social media, slide presentations, feature articles, news releases) as well as reviewing communication work of others.
  2. Successful experience providing communications advice and support to help customers create, build, and protect their reputation, products, and services.
  3. Experience in design/visual communication.
  4. Understanding of basic graphic design principles.
  5. Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, specifically Photoshop and InDesign.
  6. Experience with video production.
  7. Understanding of basic email marketing principles and development.
  8. Strong sense of narrative storytelling.
  9. Experience with mass email applications, i.e., Maestro, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.
  10. Experience working at an advanced level with Microsoft Office applications.
  11. Able to comprehend complex technology projects and translate into simplified key messages for general audiences.
  12. Experience with marketing and media relations efforts and activities.
  13. Understanding and experience with change management processes and practices.
  14. Understanding of and experience with ServiceNow, information technology and enterprise resource planning systems.
  15. Demonstrated results developing large complex communication campaigns.
  16. Experience working with WordPress.
  17. Understanding of HTML and basic website development.
  18. Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations) or an equivalent of education and experience, or minimum 5 years of directly related professional work experience, including creating and implementing communication plans.
