We are seeking a Communications Specialist to join our team. This role involves creating and executing communication strategies across various platforms, including web content, social media, and branding efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong content creation skills and the ability to effectively synthesize and distribute information to a broad audience. Some onsite work is required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement communication strategies targeting internal and external audiences.
  • Manage content creation and marketing communications as the project lead.
  • Write, edit, and disseminate stories and other content.
  • Design or oversee the design of visually engaging content for both electronic and print media.
  • Maintain an effective online presence through website management, social media, and targeted email marketing campaigns.
  • Support various initiatives, meetings, and events.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, with a strong ability to create and evaluate visual communications.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a passion for storytelling and a keen sense of tone and nuance.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of IT departments or IT-related content is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or a related field.
  • At least five years of progressive experience in marketing communications.
  • Proven experience in strategic communications, leveraging the latest technologies to achieve communication objectives.
  • Experience in leading teams to develop and execute targeted marketing plans.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with video editing software is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM systems and email campaign management.
  • Proficiency with project management software or online tools.
