What You’ll Be Doing:
As an HR Coordinator, you’ll wear a lot of hats (the fun kind!). You’ll support various aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, onboarding, records management, employee communications, and more. You’ll work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and other HR pros to keep things running smoothly from candidate experience to employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the recruitment process by partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to schedule interviews (onsite & virtual), send offer letters, and ensure a top-notch candidate experience.
Enter and manage employee data across internal systems (Workday, iCIMS, etc.).
Initiate and monitor background checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment requirements.
Help onboard new team members by coordinating paperwork, systems access, and orientation support.
Maintain and update personnel files and confidential HR records.
Respond to HR-related inquiries from employees via email, chat, or in person.
Assist with FMLA case coordination, time-off requests, and employee leave tracking.
Generate standard and custom reports for compliance and internal use.
Help plan team events, milestone celebrations, and office happenings (yes, you might even order flowers!).
Stay on top of changing HR priorities and support special projects as needed.
What You Bring to the Table:
1 year of experience in an HR or recruiting coordinator role.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented and super organized—you know how to juggle and prioritize.
A sense of discretion and professionalism—confidentiality is key.
Experience with HR systems (bonus points for Workday, Dayforce, or iCIMS).
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
A customer service mindset—you enjoy helping others and solving problems.
A collaborative, can-do attitude with a dash of creativity and flexibility.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience handling FMLA/leave administration.
Background in scheduling interviews and managing recruiter calendars.
Comfort running reports or performing basic data analysis.
Location Requirement:
This role requires you to be local to the St. Louis area and available to work onsite 1–3 times per week, with occasional additional days as needed. Candidates must have a suitable home office setup for hybrid work.
