End Point Engineer

Overview:

Seeking an experienced professional to support high-visibility Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) deployments. The role involves maintaining and optimizing EDR solutions, ensuring system security, and troubleshooting endpoint issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike or similar tools).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint issues, action alerts, and manage updates across all devices.
  • Analyze security reports, assess risks, and coordinate remediation efforts with relevant teams.
  • Install, configure, and administer computer hardware and software.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and testing of software applications or services.
  • Ensure technology systems are updated and accessible with current hardware and software.
  • Monitor systems to ensure maximum performance and availability.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and process inefficiencies to maintain project timelines.
  • Work closely with deskside support teams and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Analyze system requirements and business processes to manage desktop and group policy settings for Linux, Mac, and Windows environments.
  • Assist in maintaining system performance, security, and capacity planning.
  • Document system development, deployment processes, and lifecycle.
  • Develop and modify training materials for users.
  • Conduct research on new or improved technology solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft OS, PC hardware, Mac OS, Apple hardware, and desktop software (e.g., MS Office).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work independently with high accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as necessary and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional certification preferred.

This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing complex systems in a dynamic environment while maintaining a high standard of technical support and system security.
