Dispute Resolution Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking detail-oriented Dispute Resolution Specialists to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and making decisions on transaction disputes, focusing on arbitration and chargeback cases. The position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while following established rules and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and adjudicate chargeback and arbitration cases related to customer disputes, fraud, and questionable transactions.
  • Analyze documentation provided by issuers and acquirers to determine financial responsibility for disputed transactions.
  • Prepare clear and concise written rulings explaining the decision-making process to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members and managers to resolve inquiries and ensure accurate application of rules.
  • Consistently maintain a high level of accuracy and speed in processing cases.
  • Educate stakeholders on dispute resolution processes and rules as needed.
Daily Activities:
  • Review and interpret documentation, rules, and standards to reach fair dispute resolutions.
  • Draft ruling texts to communicate the outcome to customers, ensuring clarity and compliance with guidelines.
  • Focus on case management throughout the day, ensuring timely and accurate rulings.
  • Work independently while reaching out for guidance when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in general computer skills (Excel, Word, Internet, typing).
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and speed.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply rules and standards.
  • Ability to research, conclude, and justify decisions in a clear and concise manner.
Work Schedule:
  • Typical hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30/4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30/5:00 PM.
