Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Connectivity Business Analyst to join our dynamic team to bridge the gap between our Service organization and R&D software teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our service offerings and ensuring that our technical requirements align with our customers’ needs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Med Tech, with a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions.
Products within the scope of this role include:
• Field Force Mobile App Development: Enhancing our mobile capabilities to support our service teams in the field.
• Cloud-Based Platform for Software Content Distribution: Creating a robust platform for managing both internal and external users effectively.
• Investment in IoT Platform: Continuously enhancing our IoT capabilities to improve connectivity and data utilization.
• Self-Service Digital Solutions: Developing solutions that leverage a data lake and connected assets to generate revenue through connected data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between the Service Organization and R&D teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to ensure alignment of project goals and requirements.
• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with Service Commercial leaders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements that can be translated into actionable technical specifications for R&D software development teams. Lead design review to formalize design input for software development.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the Service organization, leveraging insights from customer feedback and industry trends to drive innovation.
• Project Oversight: Support the development and implementation of new service initiatives, ensuring that all project milestones are met and that deliverables align with business objectives.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to assess the performance of service initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Context and Data Modeling: Generate models to visually represent how in scope products will interact with data, users and other integrated systems.
• Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to Service organization teams on best practices for articulating technical requirements and understanding R&D processes.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, in the Medical Device or Life Science industry.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and requirements, with experience engaging with senior leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with IoT platforms, cloud-based solutions, and digital service offerings is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with diagraming tools like Visio or Draw.io
• Knowledge of basic networking and cybersecurity needs
• Knowledge of modeling techniques such as (data flow diagrams, flowcharts, UML, BPMN)
• Knowledge of IEC 62304 and IEC 60601
