Public Description: Immediate opening for a Category Space Analyst with a Fortune 500 company in the Great Lakes Region, covering Grand Rapids, Chicago, Wisconsin and Cincinnati areas retailers.
In this role you will:
Support the Category Management department in executing Merchandise Planning functions to produce Best in Class planograms for our retail partners.
Develop and analyze merchandise assortments that deliver overall category growth through a combination of internal merchandising tools coupled with retailer specified guidelines.
Analyze retail and market level data to develop planogram schematics utilizing JDA Space Planning software platform.
Create relevant product assortments and optimal space planning that drive sales across the business.
Responsibilities will include data cleansing, modular management, modular retrieval, reviewing retail and category management guidelines, etc.
MUST have Bachelor’s degree
Strong analytical experience
Hands on experience creating modular utilizing JDA
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Access is a plus.
Ability to collaborate with a wide range of professionals, strong oral and written communication skills, good judgment, time-management skills, and creativity.
