Mission The Data Analytics Lead will serve as a strategic leader in the organization, advocating for data-driven decision-making and promoting the adoption of business intelligence tools and practices. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify data needs, develop insights, and drive business performance improvements. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Data Advocacy: Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization by demonstrating the value of business intelligence tools and analytics.
Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored BI solutions.
Tool Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of BI tools and platforms, ensuring they meet organizational requirements.
Training and Support: Develop and deliver training sessions for staff on BI tools, data visualization, and analytics best practices.
Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business objectives.
Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing BI processes and recommend enhancements to improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for BI-related inquiries, fostering strong relationships with business leaders and teams.
Performance Measurement: Establish and monitor metrics to assess the effectiveness of BI initiatives and their impact on business outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud), SQL, and data visualization techniques.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management: Familiarity with project management principles and experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Leadership: Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in adopting BI practices.
Work Ethics: Work independently with minimal supervision; self-motivated and able to take ownership of work; results-oriented, with the initiative to complete tasks thoroughly.
Education & Experience
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
Experience: 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles
Field: Data Analytics, BI, or related field; Information Technology
